This could be a simple coincidence but...
Isn't it curious both post about their analog gear in less than two weeks time? Furthermore, Push talking about about a collab and adding a hashtag about an album in the same post... It could all very well relate to this question he asked us last year: twitter.com/MikePush/status/659843967236730880
A Mane can dream, right?

Happy New Year, ALL (lol)
Here, a Retrospective on L.E.D.
Speaking of boredom, eh.
I made a compilation focusing on the 34 original works Rank 1 have made in the 17 years spanning 1999 to 2016. Or you could say I put Opus 1 til Opus 34 together in a 79 minute minute journey. I made this for two people in particular:
1. People just getting into Rank 1's sound via their releases from the last couple of years
2. Myself: if I am at work and I have activities in which I am allowed to have my phone blasting out music, I've got this set that covers like 30 tunes in an hour. More music in less time, SOMETIMES that's a nice thing.
I cut bits of these Rank 1 tracks with FreeTrimMp3 (which allowed me to work with miliseconds) first. Then, after converting them back to mp3 (because FTM uses WAV outputs) I played them all in Winamp, with WA's crossfading function on (600 milisecs). The final step was to use Creative Playcentre's record function. Tedious and laborious, I know. But that's what you get when you can't DJ
Anyway, this comp features a couple of tracks that are always missed by people that only have this vague idea that "OMG RANK ! LEGENDZ BECUZ AIRWAVESSSSSSS". This comp proves there are at least 33 valid other reasons to love them. Anyway, I will do one for their remixes too as more so then with their originals, they have quite some underrated remixes out there. Currently in the FTM phase with that one, got 25/32 ready to go.
Anyhoo, if you've got nothing better to do, might as well check it out. Might discover an oldie by them you've never heard before
